We have less than 19 days to go. As we get closer more PSVR titles should receive their official release date. As of now you can pre order 100ft Robot Golffrom the PSN store now and receive theme that changes daily. Right now if you are a ps+ member it costs $17.99 or regular cost will be $19.99. Great thing about this is you can play both with and without PSVR and also the buildings are destructible and you can hit your friends with clubs.
A few more games were added to be pre ordered such as Rush of Blood, Drive Club VR and Battlezone. With less than 3 weeks until release, I honestly thought more titles would be available to be pre ordered online through PSN. Maybe when October 1st comes around, we will get that. Hopefully Sony adds a PSVR "experience" each month of ps+...we can hope right?
SuperHyperCube Cancels Oculus Support:
Well it seems that Palmer Luckey was caught secretly for secretly funding a political organization. You can read about here. I will say this, I don't discuss politics or get into a religious debate because I would rather have everyone get along, but for a company to stand behind what they believe just like anyone else in what they believe is very admirable and who knows what this might do to bigger companies if they follow. There are two sides to every story...sometimes there may be three, but what this means is the PSVR will be getting the SuperHyperCube love on October 13th.
New PlayStation Commercial
In case you have not seen it, there is a new PlayStation commercial about "How you will not believe what's what's in store" as in the PSN store. It's pretty good, so please check it out...
So even though the update is a little shorter than normal, I wanted to add more titles that will be coming out very soon as well as some that will be coming out in the near future. The week of Oct 13th will be an exciting one and like many of us, we will be playing what we all have been waiting for PSVR. But there are two individuals that you should be following on Twitter as well and even read their blogs. Their passion for PlayStation and PSVR are unmatched.

First my apologies for not updating when I normally do, but I wanted to let some of the news pass before just announcing for the fun of it. With that said...WOW things have come out since the last update.
A Tale Of Two Playstations -
PS4 Slim:
So after months of speculations and even some recent leaks, it seems that we now have two new Playstations. First we have the PS4 Slim that comes with Uncharted 4 and 500 gigs. Compared to the current model, the new PS4 is 30% smaller by volume, 16% smaller by weight and consumes 28% less power. Coming out on September 15th for $299 and will be replacing the current PS4 as the standard model (Yes you change still upgrade the hard drive which is now on the back and there is no optical out port)
*There will be a 1 tb version coming out soon, but no price as of yet.
How the slim PS4 looks different to launch PS4 hardware:
Thinner form factor with softened corners and an all-matte finish
Approximately 40 per cent smaller, with dimensions of 26.5cm x 26.5cm x 3.8cm compared to the launch PS4's 27.5cm x 30cm x 5.3cm.
Physical power and eject buttons housed just below the disc drive
Light bar removed in favour of a light on the new power button
Two USB 3.0 ports positioned apart from one another on the front of the device
The base of the console has multiple 'legs' made of protruding plastic in the shape of iconic PlayStation symbols
The PlayStation square, triangle, circle, and cross symbols are stamped on the side of the console, with the circle also acting as part of the attachment for the stand
The slim PS4's features and hardware compared to the original PS4:
Removal of the Optical Out port on the rear of the console
An updated DualShock 4 controller that comes packaged in the box (see more below)
Two hard drive options - standard 500GB, or an increased capacity of 1TB
The ability to change hard drives with a dedicated panel on the back
New hard drive supplier - Toshiba MQ01ABD050 2.5-inch in our hands-on - but the same 5400rpm speeeds
Reduction in fan noise, heat, and power consumption (around 41% less power on the dashboard in early tests)
WiFi Improvements - 5GB IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac supported (also available with the Pro model)
Sony also announced a PS4 Pro model that doubles the cpu processing power of the original PS4 and allows for a smoother more detailed experience that those with a 4K TV will truly benefit from. Also with the upgraded processing power, the PSVR will also benefit as it will help smooth out the experience. The PS4 PRO comes with a 1TB hard drive and is out on November 10th, 2016 for $399.
The PS4 Pro will exceed the original console in terms of processing power. Sony didn't provide overall figures, but it did claim the new AMD Polaris architecture GPU is more than twice as fast as the PS4's.

The promise of double the graphics power suggests we'll be getting some amazing games in the future, but Sony has previously told developers the the PS4 Pro cannot have "exclusive" games of its own; all software must work on the older hardware, be it the original PS4 or the slimmer 2016 model.
However, games will be allowed to have Pro-exclusive improvements such as higher-res textures, better resolutions and improved frame rates, provided they still run at an acceptable pace on the original console.
"Pro-Enhanced" versions of PS4 titles can be identified by the following logo on packaging. Our guess is the same information will appear on the PlayStation Store alongside digital titles.
Both the Pro and Slim come with the new DS4 controller.
New Dual Shock 4 Controller:
The big addition is a strip of light at the top of the controller's touch pad, allowing players to see the controller's light colour without having to look at the underside of the controller. The light bar itself is slightly smaller.
It'll also transfer data over USB when plugged into the PS4, reducing the very slight Bluetooth lag seen in the launch controller. This feature isn't exclusive to new PS4 models - it'll also work if you plug the new controller into a launch PS4 also.
It'll also look a little different too, with the thumbsticks and D-pad adopting a more grey colour scheme than the original black.
This controller will retail separately, coming in the same Magma Red and Wave Blue colour varieties as the originals.
The New controller should be $59.99 and will be available at all retail and online locations.
Along came the accessories:
Sony also announced a new camera.

Demo Disc:
With each PSVR headset will include a demo disc so that come October 13th, everyone will have something to play and experience. So here are all the games included:
Sony also announced Anywhere VR. Sony is wanting to bring your smartphone into VR on the PSVR offering you "supreme relaxation". This experience projects your phone's display inside an immersive environment, allowing you to check your messages and apps all without removing the PSVR.
Well since we only have less than a month until the PSVR is unleashed, let's keep that excitement going and all have an awesome time.

There is going to be a lot of info (hopefully) this week. Pax just passed and Sony will be having their conference (one of the main focus topics will be psvr) on September 7th, 2016 and then the Tokyo Game is from September 15th - 18th. So let's take a look at some of the titles and added experiences that were announced and what we can expect.
PlayStation VR Worlds Gets New Features For Casual and Competitive PLay...AWESOME:
With PlayStation VR Worlds comes out October 13th and is bundled with the mega bundle that includes the PSVR helmet, the camera, two move controllers or you can buy it separately for $39.99. With adding casual to the mix it will allow someone who is not really good at games, but wants to maybe get into them or a way to show off what PSVR is all about. In the London Heist for example, casual will add laser sites to the guns and reduces the difficulty level. With Ocean Decent it adds 3 levels with each level telling a story.
For competitive side of the coin you will see how you rank among others. In the London Heist for example, there will be four shooting ranges that will test your skill with the various weapons and record your score separately with both laser sighted and unassisted modes. Dangerball will add tournament and quick play modes that will add some special modes into the mix. VR Luge gets timed leader boards to see who can get to the end in the quickest time so you can race against the 'ghosts' of others. There will also be carefully crafted trophy targets to achieve.
Call of Duty Infinite-Warfare:
Jackal Assault is a Call of Duty cockpit PSVR experience which is available for free for those who but Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PS4. Players can use the Jackal ship that can fly and fight in space. Call of Duty Infinite-Warfare releases on November 4th, 2016.
Drive Club VR:
Yes the same Drive Club that came out will now get the VR treatment within the launch window of the PlayStation VR. What looks to be an amazing VR experience, it may just be time to get that steering wheel.
Chinese Developer 'Oasis' announces five PSVR titles:
Out of nowhere, the announcements are coming. Out of these five, four will be out on launch day of October 13th along with the PSVR.
Ace Banana: An archery game for the PSVR where you play as a Banana Archer and you need to protect a pile of bananas against funny monkeys trying to steal and eat your bananas. The game features both single and multiplayer game modes. Coming out October 13th.
Mixip: In this arcade space shooter, you'll control two ships simultaneously, wielding a Move controller in each hand. Combine the ship for new abilities, dodge heavy fire, and grab upgrades to increase weapon power and take down bosses. Coming out October 13th.
Pixel Gear: Pixel Gear is a vivid 3D Pixel shooter where you fight crazed cartoon monsters and ghosts. Each level is stuffed with Interactive objects that manifest funny feedback when they get shot. Upgrade your weapons to create combo attacks and use different abilities, like slowing down time or even stop it. Coming out October 13th.
Weeping Doll: A story-driven horror adventure where dolls can come alive, animated by the angry thoughts that arise whenever their children feel wronged. With tough puzzles in spooky environments to solve the mystery of an abused girl's doll that takes revenge on her parents. Coming out October 13th.
Dying Reborn: Prepare to delve into a dark and scary, horror-themed puzzle game that recreates a unique first person room escape experience in only a way that VR can provide. You will need to investigate, gather and use the collected items to solve a variety of creative puzzles to escape each room. Coming within the PSVR launch window.
Carnival Games VR:
Yes the same Carnival Games that was on the Wii is coming to the PSVR. And just like how the Wii version allowed you to use motion control to play the games, but adding VR to the mix will be playing these Carnival Games in a whole new level. So step right up, carnival goers are welcomed to the virtual big top! The original brought the fair experience into your home, but on October 28th, you will be taken right to the middle of the midway with 12 VR games:
Alley Ball: Roll nine balls down the lane and into the holes at the end of the alley.
Ring Toss: Try to toss five rings onto pegs for points.
Golden Arm: How good is your throwing arm? Try to knocking over the golden milk jug(s) with a baseball.
Down The Stretch: Be the first to finish the race by rolling the ball into the holes at the end of the ramp.
Pop Darts: Pop as many balloons as possible with six darts. Hit the moving targets to pop all 8 balloons on that station.
Shooting Gallery: You have unlimited shots – but you’re racing against the clock – to hit as many scripted targets as possible.
Climbing Wall: Look around you and climb as fast as you can to reach the treasure at the top of the wall.
Shark Tank: Try to dunk all three patrons by throwing the ball at the moving target as quickly as possible.
Funnel Cake Stacker: Catch as many funnel cakes on the tray as you can.
Swish: You have 60 seconds to make as many baskets as possible.
Haunted House: You’re on a cart moving through a haunted house, now take aim and shoot as many targets as possible!
Fast Pitch: All kinds of crazy pitches are coming your way – how many can you catch?
Now that you’ve won some tickets, it’s time to turn them in for some virtual prizes and unlock new games! You can interact with prizes in a free-form VR setting in the “playrooms.” For example, you score enough tickets to buy a Ball-and-Chain – try swinging them around in the Prize Room. It’s more than just a trophy room, though – it’s a sandbox! Goof around with your prizes in a free form environment and see what happens! (Pro-tip: Many of the game’s Trophies are earned through how you play with prizes.)
There is more – be sure to challenge friends on the leaderboards! Each game will have a leaderboard to track your game scores and compete against friends.
So get ready for that PSVR train and it's getting ready to launch with full speed ahead.
Can you feel it...taste it...smell it? The PlayStation VR train is getting tuned up and ready. We are at the 45 day mark at the time of blog and honestly it has been a long time since Project Morpheus was announced on March 18, 2014.
On September 15, 2015, it was announced that Project Morpheus would be officially named PlayStation VR.
On October 8, 2015, Sony acquired SoftKinetic, a tech startup whose focus includes visual depth-sensing gesture recognition.
On November 2, 2015, Sony confirmed that they were still aiming for a release in the first half of 2016 (this was pushed back due to making sure they had the games and experiences to launch with PSVR).
On March 15, 2016, at the Game Developers Conference, Sony confirmed the release date will be in October 2016 with the price tag of $399 and $499 for the mega bundle.
On June 15, 2016, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation VR headset will launch on Oct 13, 2016
Preorders that started in March were the fast selling hardware pre-orders at Gamestop ever. Sony opened up a second wave and within about 4 - 8 minutes it sold out. I love it when people on the mighty Internet will down play and throw out their comments that it will fail. Either they haven't tried it, they tried and because they didn't pre-order when they had the chance and now that it is sold out they cannot get one so they continue to have a negative attitude about it or it may simply they cannot get one when it comes out. Sure there are demos at Best buy and Gamestop (click the link to find one near you).
All I know ever since seeing movies like these among others...
Allowed me to think and with a smile...some day...some day.
But let's go back if we will to probably what really started the ideas flowing and wouldn't be cool if this happens. There was a movie called The Lawnmower Man and if you have never seen it, I would totally recommend it. Even though it came out in 1992, if you have a chance watch it...not for the acting...not for the graphics...but for the concept.
But turn back some time and we have one movie that started it and that was Tron. Even back in the 1982 this movie flipped it. What if we were in the game trying to survive?
But when Tron Legacy came out in 2010 it just rekindled that thought about that this will happen.
I knew one day even though VR has been attempted in the past such as The Nintendo Virtual Boy which was released on July 21, 1995 and discontinued the same year on December 22, 1995. Why? Well anyone who had one ( I had one) will tell you was because it made you sick and gave you headaches. It wasn't that the unit itself was bad per say, but the red and black colors of all the games is what made your eyes water and your head started to hurt.
But when Tron came out and in the movie that had tanks and seeing that at that time was really amazing...
Now let's move a little to the present which who knows what could happen with this series, we have Battlezone coming out on PSVR on Day 1...October 13, 2016.
All I know is come October 13th, 2016 when I get my PlayStation VR and Battlezone I will be streaming music while play and listening to
It just goes to show what the thought of maybe one day to the idea of what if to how you truly imagined it to be and is finally being available for you to experience.
Wow a lot of things happened this week at Gamescom 2016. We had some official release dates along with some box art reveals.
Battlezone is coming out day 1 on Oct 13th on both physical and psn dl. No word on price yet, but will update as soon as it is announced. This is a day 1 buy for me as this is the Tron tank game I have been waiting for.
Eagle Flight got a release date of Nov. 15th for the physical release, but if you would rather have the digital version, you can get it one week earlier on Nov. 8th on PSN. Price is $39.99.
Star Trek Bridge Crew VR is coming out Dec. 6th for a cost of $59.99
And also from Ubisoft is Werewolves Within coming out Dec. 6th for $29.99.
Rez Infinite is getting a very limited physical release with an October ship date. The only way to get this is from the UK store Iam8bit.com for $39.99 that will cost more than the psn game itself because it is a physical copy, but depending on the shipping you select, it could be $5.00 shipping regular mail and depending how long the USPS will take to ship from the UK to you or if you want it as fast as possible you can select the Fed Ex 2 day and add $42.89 on top of the $39.99 for a total of around $82.88. So it just depends if you want a physical or if you are ok with the regular psn dl at the lower cost.
It looks like like PlayStation VR won best hardware at Gamescom and best casual game was won by none other Battlezone. Congratulations!
